The concept and execution is great but I’m not sure about the grip tape on the outside. That could make for some pretty raw knuckles—but then again, this a piece of art where form rules over function.

Fung Kwok Pan (industrial designer/developer/artist) developed a program that figured out just that.In his own words, “This is a system created to find out the colour of anything, by querying and aggregating image data from Flickr, a popular online photo sharing community. It is an attempt at answering a potentially complex and abstract question in an objective manner, by using simple algorithms on data originating from subjective human perceptions.”

Twitter has been blowing up after people (me included) tried to access apple.com after the iPhone 4s was announced. Seems their server crashed from either too much traffic, updating issues, or a funny (but could be true) rummor that the hacker crew Anonymous could be behind it all.

Please forgive the poor phone photo quality.I ventured out today to take some pics of the progress for the new Northglenn skatepark. Team Pain is doing a kick ass job as usual. The park has a ton of features from handrails and a step-up, to a bowl and even a “clam shell.”
Although the park itself looks complete—minus the landscaping—there is a huge sign that says the grand opening is in 7 weeks (so around September 17th). Weather permitting, my guess is it will open sooner—legally or not.
